Prototyping demonstrates what is possible before the product development phase begins. It is highly recommended for validating ideas before presenting them to customers.
Prototyping often combines multiple disciplines. Kopland has expertise in both software and hardware:
Internet of Things (IoT)
IoT can provide solutions across many industries. Kopland has experience with short-range radio (Bluetooth) and long-range radio (LoRa and 3GPP systems). LoRa satellite communication is emerging and can address challenges in areas without other radio coverage.
Web
Web application prototyping is valuable for testing ideas and solutions. Kopland uses React and the Next.js framework. In the codebase, components can easily be configured to run either in the web client (browser) or on the Node.js backend.
Mobile
Kopland develops mobile prototypes using Android or React Native (Android/iOS).
3D
Prototyping 3D designs with 3D printing in various materials can be highly useful. Examples include mechanical parts or enclosures for electronics.
